Matt. 20,31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, O Rabbi, have mercy on us, you Son of David!
Matt. 20,32 And Yahshua stood still, and called them, and said, What will you that I shall do to you?
Matt. 20,33 They say to him, Rabbi, that our eyes may be opened.
Matt. 20,34 So Yahshua had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
Chapter 21
Yahshua's march to Jerusalem.
(Mark. 11,1-10; Luke 19,29-38; Joh. 12,12-19)
Matt. 21,1 And when they drew near to Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, to the mount of Olives, then sent Yahshua two disciples,
Matt. 21,2 Saying to them, Go into the village over against you, and immediately you shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her, loose them, and bring them to me.
Matt. 21,3 And if any man say anything to you, you shall say, The Master has need of them; and immediately he will send them.

Matt. 21,4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying (Zac. 9:9),
Matt. 21,5 Tell you the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King comes to you, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

Matt. 21,9 And the multitudes that went before him, and that followed, cried, saying,

Cleaning of the temple.
(Mark 11,15-19; Luke 19,45-48; Joh. 2,13-16)
Matt. 21,12 And Yahshua went into the temple of Elohim, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
Matt. 21,13 and said to them, it is written (Is. 56:7), My house shall be called the house of prayer: but you have made it a den of murderers.
Jer 7,11
Matt. 21,14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
Matt. 21,15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were greatly displeased,
Matt. 21,16 and said to him, do you hear what these say? And Yahshua said to them, Yes: have you never read (Ps. 8:3): Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings you have perfected praise?
Matt. 21,17 And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.
The withered fig tree.
(Mark. 11,12-14; 20-24)
Matt. 21,18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.
Matt. 21,19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said to it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever! And presently the fig tree withered away.
Luke 13,6
Matt. 21,20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
Matt. 21,21 Yahshua answered and said to them, Truly I say to you, If you have faith, and doubt not, you shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if you shall say to this mountain, Be you removed, and be you cast into the sea! it shall be done.

The Question after the authority of Yahshua.

Matt. 21,23 And when he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority do you these things? and who gave you this authority?

Matt. 21,24 And Yahshua answered and said to them, I also will ask you one thing, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
Matt. 21,25 The baptism of John, where was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say to us, Why did you not then believe him?
Matt. 21,26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

Matt. 21,33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:

Matt. 21,37 But last of all he sent to them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

Matt. 21,39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.
Matt. 21,40 When therefore the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those husbandmen?

Matt. 21,42 Yahshua said to them, Did you never read in the Scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner; this is YAHWEH's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes.

Matt. 21,43 Therefore I say to you, The kingdom of YAHWEH shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits of it.
Matt. 21,44 And whoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Matt. 21,45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke of them.

Chapter 22
The royal marriage.
(Luke 14,16-24)
Matt. 22,1 And Yahshua answered and spoke to them again by parables, and said,
Matt. 22,2 The kingdom of heaven is like to a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,

Matt. 22,3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
Matt. 22,4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage.
Matt. 22,5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
Matt. 22,6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.

Matt. 22,7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

Matt. 22,8 Then said he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

The tribute.

Matt. 22,15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.
Matt. 22,16 And they sent out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that you are true, and teach the way of YAHWEH in truth, neither cares you for any man: for you regard not the person of men.
John 3,2
Matt. 22,17 Tell us therefore, What think you? Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
Matt. 22,18 But Yahshua perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt you me, you hypocrites?
Matt. 22,19 Show me the tribute money! And they brought to him a denarius.
Matt. 22,20 And he said to them, Whose is this image and superscription?
Matt. 22,21 Then say to him, Caesars's. Then said he to them, Render therefore to Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and to YAHWEH the things that are YAHWEH's!
Luke 23,2; Rom. 13,7
Matt. 22,22 When they had heard these words, they marveled, and left him, and went their way.
The resurrection of the dead.
(Mark. 12,18-27; Luke 20,27-40)
Matt. 22,23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,

Matt. 22,24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed to his brother.
Matt. 22,25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife to his brother:
Matt. 22,26 Likewise the second also, and the third, to the seventh.
Matt. 22,27 And last of all the woman died also.
Matt. 22,28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
Matt. 22,29 Yahshua answered and said to them, You do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of YAHWEH.
Matt. 22,30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of YAHWEH in heaven.
Matt. 22,31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken to you by Elohim (G-d), saying,
Matt. 22,32 I am the Elohim of Abraham, and the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob? YAHWEH is not the Elohim of the dead, but of the living.
Matt. 22,33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his teaching.
The greatest commandment.
(Mark. 12,28-31; Luke 10,25-28)
Matt. 22,34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
Matt. 22,35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
Matt. 22,36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Matt. 22,37 And he said to him,
» You shall love YAHWEH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.« (Deuteronmy 6:5).
Matt. 22,38 This is the first and great commandment.
Matt. 22,39 And the second is like to it,
» You shall love your neighbor as yourself. « (Leviticus 19:18).
Matt. 22,40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Son of David and Master.
(Mark. 12,35-37; Luke 20,41-44)
Matt. 22,41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Yahshua asked them,
Matt. 22,42 Saying, What do you think of the Messiah? whose son is he? They said to him, The son of David.

Matt. 22,43 He said to them, How then does David in the spirit call him Master / Sovereign, saying,
Matt. 22,44 »YAHWEH said to my Master/ Sovereign (= 'Yahshua', that means: 'YAHWEH save'), Sit you on my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool«

Matt. 22,45 If David then calls him Master/Sovereign, how is he his son?
Matt. 22,46 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.

Against the scribes and the Pharisees.
