Chapter 9

Healing of a man sick of the palsy.

(Mark. 2,1-12; Luke 5,17-26)

Matt. 9,1 And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.

Matt. 9,2 And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Yahshua seeing their faith said to the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; your sins be forgiven you.

Matt. 9,3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemes.

Calling of Matthew.

Matt. 9,9 And as Yahshua passed forth from there, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said to him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

chap. 10,3

Matt. 9,10 And it came to pass, as Yahshua sat at table in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.

Matt. 9,11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, Why does your Master eat with publicans and sinners?

Matt. 9,12 But when he heard that, he said to them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

Matt. 9,13 But go and learn what this means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

The daughter of Jairus.

Matt. 9,20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:

Matt. 9,21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

Matt. 9,22 But Yahshua turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; your faith has made you whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Matt. 9,24 He said to them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleeps. And they laughed him to scorn.

Matt. 9,35 And Yahshua went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the good tidings of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

Matt. 9,36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

Matt. 9,37 Then said he to his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

Chapter 10

Calling of the twelve.

(Mark. 6,7-13; Luke 9,1-5)

Matt. 10,1 And when he had called to him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Matt. 10,2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;

* note: is meant figuratively. Who does not take the daily occurring difficulties with the true succession of the Messiah upon himself, is not worthy of him. That is to say this human follows the Master Yahshua just as the Master Yahshua has lived his life, by upholding his commandments, including the Sabbath, including his prayers, to the one true and only God, the Father.

Matt. 10,39 He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.

Matt. 10,40 He that receives you receives me, and he that receives me receives him that sent me.

Chapter 11

The question of the Baptist.

Matt. 11,1 And it came to pass, when Yahshua had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities.

Matt. 11,3 And said to him, Are you he that should come, or do we look for another?

Yahshua's witness concerning John the Baptist.

(Luke 7,24-35)

Matt. 11,7 And as they departed, Yahshua began to say to the multitudes concerning John, What went you out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

Matt. 11,8 But what went you out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings‘ houses.

Matt. 11,9 But what went you out for to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet.

Matt. 11,10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, which shall prepare your way before you.

Matt. 11,11 Truly I say to you, Among them that are born of women there has not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding (but) he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Matt. 11,12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

Chapter 12

On the Sabbath day the disciples began to pluck the ears of corn.

Matt. 12,3 But he said to them, Have you not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;

Matt. 12,4 How he entered into the house of YAHWEH, and did eat the showbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?

Matt. 12,5 Or have you not read in the law, how that on the Sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?

Matt. 12,6 But I say to you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

Matt. 12,12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the Sabbath days.

Matt. 12,13 Then said he to the man, Stretch forth your hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.

Matt. 12,14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

John 5,16

Matt. 12,15 But when Yahshua knew it, he withdrew himself from there: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

Matt. 12,16 And charged them that they should not make him known:

Matt. 12,17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,

Matt. 12,18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall declare (show) judgment to the nations.

Matt. 12,19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.

Matt. 12,20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment to victory.

Yahshua's power over the demons.

(Mark. 3,22-30; Luke 11,14-23; 12,10)

Matt. 12,22 Then was brought to him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, so (insomuch) that the blind and dumb both spoke and saw.

Matt. 12,23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

Matt. 12,24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow does not cast out demons, but by Beelzebub the prince of the demons.

chap. 9,34

Matt. 12,25 And Yahshua knew their thoughts, and said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

Matt. 12,26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

Matt. 12,27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out demons, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.

Matt. 12,28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of YAHWEH, then the kingdom of YAHWEH is come to you.

1 John 3,8

Matt. 12,29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man‘s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

Matt. 12,30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathers not with me scatters abroad.

The blasphemy against the Spirit.

(Luke 6,43-45)

Matt. 12,31 Therefore I say to you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven to men: but the blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven to men.
