Ps 78,50 da er seinen Zorn ließ fortgehen und ihre Seele vor dem Tode nicht verschonte und übergab ihr Leben der Pestilenz/ Pest;

Ps 78,51 da er alle Erstgeburt in Ägypten schlug, die Erstlinge ihrer Kraft in den Hütten Hams,

Ps 78,52 und ließ sein Volk ausziehen wie die Schafe und führte sie wie eine Herde in der Wüste.

Ps 78,53 Und leitete sie sicher, daß sie sich nicht fürchteten; aber ihre Feinde bedeckte das Meer.

Ps 78,54 Und er brachte sie zu seiner heiligen Grenze/ zur Grenze seines Heiligtums, zu diesem Berge, den seine Rechte erworben hat,

Ps 78,55 und vertrieb vor ihnen her die Völker/ Nationen und ließ ihnen das Erbe austeilen und ließ in jener Hütten die Stämme Israels wohnen.

Ps 78,56 Aber sie versuchten und erzürnten Gott [Elohim] den Allerhöchsten und hielten seine Zeugnisse nicht

Ps 78,57 und fielen zurück und verachteten alles wie ihre Väter und hielten nicht, gleichwie ein loser Bogen,

Ps 78,58 und erzürnten ihn mit ihren Höhen [durch den Götzendienst auf den Höhen der Hügel und Berge] und reizten ihn mit ihren Götzen/Götzenbildern.

Ps 78,59 Und da das Gott hörte, entbrannte er und verwarf Israel ganz,

Ps 78,60 daß er seine Wohnung zu Silo ließ fahren, die Hütte, da er unter Menschen wohnte,

Ps 78,61 und gab seine Macht ins Gefängnis und seine Herrlichkeit in die Hand des Feindes
KJV + EL = And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy‘s hand.
Ps 78,62 und übergab sein Volk ins Schwert und entbrannte über sein Erbe.
KJV + EL = He gave his people over also to the sword; and was angry with his inheritance.
Ps 78,63 Ihre junge Mannschaft fraß das Feuer, und ihre Jungfrauen mußten ungefreit (unvermählt) bleiben / Ihren Jungfraun ward kein Hochzeitslied.
KJV + EL = The fire consumed their young men; and their virgins had no marriage song.
Ps 78,64 Ihre Priester fielen durchs Schwert, und waren keine Witwen, die da weinen sollten.
KJV + EL = Their priests fell by the sword; and their widows made no lamentation.

Ps 78,65 Und JAHWEH erwachte wie ein Schlafender, wie ein Starker jauchzt, der vom Wein kommt,
KJV + EL = Then YAHWEH awaked as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man that shouts by reason of wine.
Ps 78,66 und schlug seine Feinde zurück und hängte ihnen ewige Schande an.
KJV + EL = And he struck his enemies backward: He put them to a perpetual reproach.
Ps 78,67 Und er verwarf die Hütte Josephs und erwählte nicht den Stamm Ephraim,
KJV + EL = Moreover he refused the tent of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim:

Ps 78,68 sondern erwählte den Stamm Juda, den Berg Zion, welchen er liebte.

Ps 78,69 Und baute sein Heiligtum hoch, wie die Erde, die ewiglich fest stehen soll.

Ps 78,70 Und erwählte seinen Knecht David und nahm ihn von den Schafställen;

Ps 78,71 von den säugenden Schafen holte er ihn, daß er sein Volk Jakob weiden sollte und sein Erbe Israel.
KJV + EL = From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.

Ps 78,72 Und er weidete sie auch mit aller Treue (nach der Lauterkeit seines Herzens) und regierte mit allem Fleiß.
KJV + EL = So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.
Psalm 79
Ps 79,1 Ein Psalm Asaphs. O Gott [Elohim], es sind Nationen (Heiden) in dein Erbe gefallen; die haben deinen heiligen Tempel verunreinigt und aus Jerusalem Steinhaufen gemacht.
KJV + EL = A Psalm of Asaph. O Elohim, the nations have come into your inheritance; Your holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem in heaps.
Ps 79,2 Sie haben die Leichname deiner Knechte den Vögeln zu fressen gegeben und das Fleisch deiner Heiligen den Tieren im Lande.
KJV + EL = The dead bodies of your servants have they given to be food to the birds of heaven, the flesh of your saints to the beasts of the earth.
Ps 79,3 Sie haben Blut vergossen um Jerusalem her wie Wasser; und war niemand, der begrub.
KJV + EL = Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.
Ps 79,4 Wir sind unseren Nachbarn eine Schmach/ ein Hohn geworden, ein Spott und Hohn/ Schimpf denen, die um uns sind.
KJV + EL = We have become a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.
Ps 44,14
Ps 79,5 O JAHWEH, wie lange willst du so gar zürnen und deinen Eifer wie Feuer brennen lassen?
KJV + EL = How long, YAHWEH? Will you be angry forever? Shall your jealousy burn like fire?
Ps 80,5
Ps 79,6 Schütte deinen Grimm auf die Nationen (Heiden), die dich nicht kennen, und auf die Königreiche, die deinen Namen nicht anrufen.
KJV + EL = Pour out your wrath upon the nations that have not known you, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon your name.
Jer 10,25
Ps 79,7 Denn sie haben Jakob aufgefressen und seine Häuser verwüstet.
KJV + EL = For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place.
Ps 79,8 Gedenke nicht unserer vorigen Missetaten (= der Vorfahren!)/ Rechne uns nicht der Vorfahren Sünden/ Ungerechtigkeiten zu!; erbarme dich unser bald, denn wir sind sehr dünn geworden.

Ps 79,10 Warum läßt du die Nationen (Heiden) sagen: „Wo ist nun ihr Gott [Elohim]?“ Laß unter den Nationen (Heiden) vor unseren Augen kund werden die Rache des Blutes deiner Knechte, das vergossen ist.

Ps 79,11 Laß vor dich kommen das Seufzen der Gefangenen; nach deinem großen Arm erhalte die Kinder des Todes

Ps 80,1 Ein Psalm und Zeugnis Asaphs, von den Rosen, vorzusingen. Du Hirte Israels, höre, der du Joseph hütest wie Schafe; erscheine, der du sitzest über dem Cherubim!

Ps 80,4 O JAHWEH/ - Zebaoth, Gott [Elohim], wie lange willst du zürnen bei dem Gebet deines Volkes?

Ps 80,5 Du speisest sie mit Tränenbrot und tränkest sie mit großem Maß voll Tränen.

Ps 80,6 Du setzest uns unsere Nachbarn zum Zank, und unsere Feinde spotten unser/ untereinander.

Ps 80,7 O Gott [Elohim] Zebaoth, tröste uns, laß leuchten dein Angesicht; so genesen wir/ so werden wir gerettet.

Ps 80,8 Du hast einen Weinstock aus Ägypten geholt und hast vertrieben die Nationen (Heiden) und denselben gepflanzt.
KJV + EL = You have brought a vine out of Egypt: You have cast out the nations, and planted it.
Jes 5,1-7; Hos 10,1
Ps 80,9 Du hast vor ihm die Bahn gemacht und hast ihn lassen einwurzeln, daß er das Land erfüllt hat.
KJV + EL = You prepared room before it, and did cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.
Ps 80,10 Berge sind mit seinem Schatten bedeckt und mit seinen Reben die Zedern Gottes [El].
KJV + EL = The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs of it were like cedars of El.
Ps 80,11 Du hast sein Gewächs ausgebreitet bis an das Meer und seine Zweige bis an den Strom.
KJV + EL = It sent out its boughs to the sea, and its branches to the river.
Ps 80,12 Warum hast du denn seinen Zaun zerbrochen/ Mauern niedergerissen, daß ihn zerreißt, alles, was vorübergeht?
KJV + EL = Why have you then broken down its walls, so that all they that pass by the way pluck it?

Ps 80,13 Es haben ihn zerwühlt die wilden Säue, und die wilden Tiere haben ihn verderbt.
KJV + EL = The boar out of the wood does waste it, and the wild beast of the field does devour it.
Ps 80,14 Gott [Elohim] Zebaoth, wende dich doch, schaue vom Himmel und sieh an und suche heim diesen Weinstock
KJV + EL = Return, we beseech you, O Elohim Sabaoth (of hosts): Look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;
Ps 80,15 und halt ihn im Bau, den deine Rechte gepflanzt hat und den du dir fest erwählt hast.
KJV + EL = And the vineyard which your right hand has planted, and the branch that you made strong for yourself.
Ps 80,16 ELBERFELDER 1871 = Er ist mit Feuer verbrannt, er ist abgeschnitten; vor dem Schelten deines Angesichts kommen/ kamen sie um.
KJV + EL = It is burned with fire, it is cut down: They perish at the rebuke of your countenance.
Ps 80,17 Deine Hand schütze das Volk deiner Rechten und die Leute, die du dir fest erwählt hast;
KJV + EL = Let your hand be upon the man of your right hand, upon the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.
Ps 80,18 so wollen wir nicht von dir weichen. Laß uns leben, so wollen wir deinen Namen anrufen.

Psalm 81
Ps 81,1 Auf der Gittith, vorzusingen, Asaphs. Singet fröhlich Gott [Elohim], der unsere Stärke ist; jauchzt dem Gott [Elohim] Jakobs!
KJV + EL = To the chief Musician upon Gittith, [A Psalm] of Asaph. Sing aloud to Elohim our strength: Make a joyful noise to the Elohim of Jacob.
Ps 81,2 Hebet an mit Psalmen und gebet her die Pauken/ laßt das Tamburin ertönen, liebliche Harfen mit Psalter!
KJV + EL = Take a psalm, and bring here the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.
Ps 81,3 ELBERFELDER 1871 = Stoßet am Neumonde in die Posaune, am Vollmonde zum Tage unseres Festes!
KJV + EL = Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.
3. Mose 23,24.34
Ps 81,4 ELBERFELDER 1871 = Denn eine Satzung für Israel ist es, eine Verordnung des Gottes [Elohims] Jakobs.
KJV + EL = For this was a statute for Israel, and an ordinance of the Elohim of Jacob.
Ps 81,5 Solche hat er zum Zeugnis gesetzt unter Joseph, da sie aus Ägyptenland zogen und fremde Sprache gehört hatten,
KJV + EL = This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: Where I heard a language that I understood not.
Ps 81,6 da ich ihre Schulter von der Last entledigt hatte und ihre Hände der Körbe los wurden.
KJV + EL = I removed his shoulder from the burden: His hands were freed from the basket.
Ps 81,7 Da du mich in der Not anriefst, half ich dir aus; ich erhörte dich, da dich das Wetter überfiel, und versuchte dich am Haderwasser. (Sela.)
KJV + EL = You called in trouble, and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder: I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

Ps 81,8 Höre, mein Volk, ich will unter dir zeugen / dich warnen; Israel, du sollst mich hören,
KJV + EL = Hear, Oh my people, and I will testify to you: Oh Israel, if you will listen to me;
Ps 81,9 daß unter dir kein anderer El/Gott ist und du keinen fremden El/Gott anbetest.
KJV + EL = There shall no strange el/god is in you; neither shall you worship any foreign el/god.
2. Mose 20,2.3
Ps 81,10 Ich bin JAHWEH, dein Elohim/Gott, der dich aus Ägyptenland geführt hat: Tue deinen Mund weit auf, laß mich ihn füllen!
KJV + EL = I am YAHWEH your Elohim/God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt: Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it!
Ps 81,11 Aber mein Volk gehorcht nicht meiner Stimme, und Israel will mich nicht.
KJV + EL = But my people would not listen to my voice; and Israel would none of/ not obey me.
Ps 81,12 So habe ich sie gelassen in ihres Herzens Dünkel/ Verstocktheit, daß sie wandeln nach ihrem Rat.
KJV + EL = So I gave them up unto their own hearts‘ lust: And they walked in their own counsels.
Apg 14,16
Ps 81,13 Wollte mein Volk mir gehorsam sein und Israel auf meinem Wege gehen,
KJV + EL = Oh that my people had listened to me, and Israel had walked in my ways!
Ps 81,14 so wollte ich ihre Feinde bald dämpfen und meine Hand über ihre Widersacher wenden,

Ps 81,15 und denen, die JAHWEH hassen, müßte es wider sie fehlen; ihre Zeit aber würde ewiglich währen,

Ps 81,16 und ich würde sie mit dem besten Weizen speisen und mit Honig aus dem Felsen sättigen.

Psalm 82
Ps 82,1 Ein Psalm Asaphs. Gott [Elohim] steht in der Gemeinde/ Versammlung Gottes [El] und ist Richter unter den Göttern [elohim].
KJV + EL = A Psalm of Asaph. Elohim stands in the congregation of El; he judges among the elohim.

Ps 82,2 Wie lange wollt ihr unrecht richten und die Person der Gesetzlosen (= ELBERFELDER) vorziehen? (Sela.)
KJV + EL = How long will you judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked/ the lawless? Selah.
5. Mose 1,17
Ps 82,3 Schaffet Recht dem Armen und dem Waisen und helfet dem Elenden und Dürftigen zum Recht.
KJV + EL = Defend the poor and fatherless: Do justice to the afflicted and needy.
Jes 1,17
Ps 82,4 Errettet den Geringen und Armen und erlöset ihn aus der Gewalt / Hand der Gesetzlosen (= ELBERFELDER).
KJV + EL = Deliver the poor and needy: Rid them out of the hand of the wicked/ the lawless.
Ps 82,5 Aber sie lassen sich nicht sagen und achten‘s nicht; sie gehen immer hin im Finstern; darum müssen alle Grundfesten des Landes/ der Erde wanken.
KJV + EL = They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: All the foundations of the earth are out of course.
Ps 82,6 Ich habe wohl gesagt: „Ihr seid Götter [elohim] und allzumal Kinder/ Söhne des Höchsten“;
KJV + EL = I have said, You are elohim; and all of you are sons of the Most High.

Ps 82,7 aber ihr werdet sterben wie Menschen und wie ein Tyrann/ einer der Fürsten zugrunde gehen.
KJV + EL = But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
Ps 82,8 ELBERFELDER 1871 = Stehe auf, O Gott [Elohim], richte die Erde! Denn du wirst zum Erbteil haben alle Nationen.
KJV + EL = Arise, O Elohim, judge the earth: for you shall inherit all nations.
Psalm 83
Ps 83,1 Ein Psalmlied Asaphs. O Gott [Elohim], schweige doch nicht also und sei doch nicht so still; O Gott [El], halt doch nicht so inne!
KJV + EL = A Song [or] Psalm of Asaph. Keep not silence, O Elohim: Hold not your peace, and be not still, O El.
Ps 83,2 Denn siehe, deine Feinde toben, und die dich hassen, richten den Kopf auf.
KJV + EL = For, lo, your enemies make a tumult: And they that hate you have lifted up the head.
Ps 83,3 Sie machen listige Anschläge gegen dein Volk und ratschlagen wider deine Verborgenen/Geborgenen (Schützlinge!).
KJV + EL = They have taken crafty counsel against your people, and consulted against your hidden ones.
Ps 27,5; 35,20
Ps 83,4 „Wohl her!“ sprechen sie; „laßt uns sie ausrotten, daß sie kein Volk / keine Nation mehr sind, daß des Namens Israel nicht mehr gedacht werde!“
KJV + EL = They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
Ps 83,5 Denn sie haben sich miteinander vereinigt und einen Bund wider dich gemacht,

Ps 83,9 Tue ihnen, wie den Midianitern, wie Sisera, wie Jabin am Bach Kison,

Ps 83,10 die vertilgt wurden bei En-Dor und wurden zu Kot auf der Erde.

Ps 83,11 Mache ihre Fürsten wie Oreb und Seeb, alle ihre Obersten wie Sebah und Zalmuna,
KJV + EL = Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: Yes, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:

Ps 83,12 die da sagen: Wir wollen Häuser/ die Wohnungen/ die Auen Gottes [Elohims] einnehmen.
KJV + EL = Who said, Let us take to ourselves in possession the habitation of Elohim.
Ps 74,8
Ps 83,13 O Gott [Elohim], mache sie wie einen Wirbel, wie Stoppeln vor dem Winde.
KJV + EL = O my Elohim, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
Ps 83,14 Wie ein Feuer den Wald verbrennt und wie eine Flamme die Berge anzündet:
KJV + EL = As the fire burns a forest, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire;
Ps 83,15 also verfolge sie mit deinem Wetter und erschrecke sie mit deinem Ungewitter.
KJV + EL = So persecute them with your tempest, and make them afraid with your storm.
Ps 83,16 Mache ihr Angesicht voll Schande, damit sie deinen Namen, O JAHWEH, suchen (= ELBERFELDER)!
KJV + EL = Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek your name, O YAHWEH.
Ps 83,17 Schämen müssen sie sich und erschrecken auf immer und zu Schanden werden und umkommen;
KJV + EL = Let them be confounded and troubled forever; yes, let them be put to shame, and perish:
